This is going to hurt me more than you…
“Please, we need to talk about it,” I pleaded with Josh tears starting to fill my eyes. “I can’t live with this, this junk!” I exclaimed the pent up tears starting to flow. My blue eyes were puffy and red; I’d been crying all night. “Well, you’re going to have to!” he almost yelled his brown eyes dull with the touch of alcohol. “You’re my wife! You promised for better or for worse.”
I sighed. I knew this was coming. I looked around at everything at the shabby carpet that was stained brown, at the walls that were filled with pictures of us when we were younger, at the hundreds of bottles littering the floor. Bottle caps were scattered all over. The TV remote was nowhere in sight, probably underneath the cushions of the sofa. Bags full of weed were hiding beneath the sofa as was the crack. This was no place for kids.
“Josh I love you. Why won’t you let me help you?” I cried moving towards him; him taking a step back. “There’s nothing to help!” he screamed his eyes angry but still dull almost unseeing. “Please Josh, I love you,” I whimpered my voice lowering to a whisper as I said that I loved him.
He looked at me. He was angry and sad and confused; so many emotions. It looked almost like he was about to cry but before he could, any trace of sadness left his features. He wasn’t agonized anymore; he was mad. “Get out!” he yelled pointing to the door. His eyes were small and pinched, his mouth sneered; he meant business. “Out!”
