FOREWORD

My Unpredictable Thoughts

What do I think about life? The truth about life, it is not just about happiness or just about sadness, it is both. What we feel is what we feel, we shouldn't deny what we feel.

This October blog posts is about accepting life and accepting how we feel about life.

It includes collection of encouraging topics, poem, and Prose

I hope this will inspire and encourage others to live life, accept the things they can't change and to help them deal with emotional problems.

On my last coin

Sunday, October 2, 2011

Whenever I strive to get a job, it doesn't really work out. It is either I don't get hired or I get hired but I couldn't stay in the job.

I always try to please the interviewer. I say what they want to hear. A willing and submissive applicant which clearly I am not. I am only submissive when I know the boss will take care of his employees and that we can be ourselves at the same time give quality service.

When I stop looking for a job and I am on my last coin. I get a phone call or a message from people who I used to work with, not exactly friends. They would recommend me and speak of my strength. They know exactly what to say when recommending me when it comes to my performance as a employee.

I am not saying be lazy and wait for the fruit to fall on you. What I am saying, take a break, live for a moment, relax. Do something productive or something creative. That's what I do, just to forget my rejection from companies or I haven't heard from them in months.

Like what? Read inspirational books, learn how to write fiction, poems, songs or even screenplays. When I don't have a job, I have time to cook, take photos of my finished dish. I can work on my writing. Improve my photo editing skills. Work on my website or write on my blog.

But you know it is not my skill that lands me a job, it is because of the people who believe in me, even if I think that my skills are not good enough and others can do better than me. It is God's grace that I have the jobs that I like and stayed there more than a year.

Anyways, for the meantime I just what I can do. I alternate my work. Sometimes I write and sometimes work on my digital artworks. I just keep on going.

I don't think about my past rejections or past failures, I just live life and work on the things I can work on like my website and my blog.

I may not getting paid but it removes my stress and frustration. It keeps my mind busy. I don't like being idle. I tend to think about negative things in my life even if sometimes I don't think about them, they pop in my mind without warning.

You might think I don't need money, of course I do. I don't have money in my pocket or wallet but we have enough money to pay for the monthly bills, buy food and basic necessities.

I just keep doing what I love and maybe in the future I get paid for it.

Spiritual Maturity

Sunday, October 2, 2011

We become spiritual awaken it doesn't mean we stop write there. We need to do something to grow our spiritual awakening or else we will drift back to a deep sleep or go back to our old self.

How do we continue growing in spirit? How do we stay awake? It will be a constant effort. It is not like "Whalla" or "Presto" you can stay awake with a magic potion in your hands.

We might fall back asleep if we are not diligent in pursuing our spiritual growth to be spiritually mature. We must constantly be aware of our actions and reactions towards any circumstances and towards other people.

We constantly need to fill our minds with good thoughts by reading inspiring self-help books, articles online. We also need to avoid people who constantly bringing us down. If we can't avoid them just ignore what they are saying.

We should be role models of love, peace, patience, self-control in dealing with daily issues of our lives. Speak with people who is also in the same path that you're taking but it doesn't mean we should snob others or hate our enemies.

We still need to respect them though they treat us badly, we should stay compose in any given time.If they yell at you don't yell back. If they bully you or harass you, don't imitate them.

Kindness is important in spiritual maturity, no matter how bad other people treat us, we must still treat them with kindness. We must learn to forgive and let it go.

Pray for them, they might be going through something it just so happens you're on the wrong place and time. Don't even plan of getting even, whatever they did, it will return multiple times at them.

Let's not concentrate much on ourselves but care for others but helping in their time of need. Don't reciprocate evil for evil. Open your hear and your mind. Let love, peace, kindness, patience in but it does not mean be foolish.

Be alert, be aware of the things that goes on around you. Be safe, don't put yourself in a situation where you could be in danger.

Knowledge is important, fill your minds with knowledge. Study, read, learn. So that everything you learned becomes wisdom. You become wise and good in analyzing situations. You will develop a good intuition.

Have a quiet time with God, pray, read and learn to listen to what he is trying to say. He will inspire you, guide you. He listens to every word you say, even before you open your mouth he knows what you're think.

Reading is good for you, if choose wisely what to read. Speaking with people who can encourage you is good for you.

When you get inspired and encouraged, don't forget to share it with others. They also need some inspiration and some kind of encouragement.

Control Anger

Monday, October 3, 2011

I am doing something on my computer for my website. All of a sudden someone knock at the gate. I check who it was. It wasn't really for us. The person made a mistake, not knowing she has the wrong house.

I am aware that I look annoyed but the tone of my voice is mellow. The person is looking for the street indicated on her piece of paper. I said she is on the wrong street I just pointed at the street sign at the corner of our house.

In my mind, I am pretty annoyed or even angry. I am busy with work. That wasn't the first time, there are other folks who made a mistake.

Even my siblings next door gets pissed-off because everyone seems to love knocking at our gate, though our family name is painted on the gate. People still knock.

How do we control our anger? Or how do we get angry without committing a sin?

First, If we get angry let us make sure we are angry at the right person, let's not get angry with someone else.

For almost eleven years I am angry and bitter but the person I am angry with is no longer around. I could no longer tell him how I feel. I could no longer blame him for my misery or bitterness.

What do I do? I pick on other people. I would say, "You are like someone I knew, I'm mad at you." I think, I am not really mad at that person who I am speaking to but I am mad on the person who was no longer there.

I got angry so easily with anyone with just so little things.

So, let us not be mad at everyone who honestly done nothing to us. It is a different circumstance and different people.

Second, We should be angry at the right time and the right place.

Don't you just hate those commercial or those annoying reality shows? Or you think the shows are not appropriate for kids.

Do you call the television network or e-mail them or the advertising companies? Do you tell them to stop airing the commercials or the reality shows?

Or you can just change channels and not watch the shows. That's what I do. It is so easy to send them mail or call them but I choose not to complain about it. It is their right to make money.

If you're against what you're seeing just turn the television off. If you don't like your kids watching a certain show, because you think it is harmful for them to watch it, take away the television.

If you're television has a program blocking system, then do it.

We should get mad, when someone bullying our kids at school. We should get mad at people who are cruel to animals. We should get mad when they kill dolphins or someone eat a chihuahua or someone making animal crushed video.

Third, Let's not stay angry for too long, may be just for a moment. Count after a few minutes later, let it go. Don't go to sleep angry. Well I could never go to sleep angry. I have the tendency vent it out by telling a friend what I feel.

How?

Vent it out on a punching bag, or you can run in the park. Don't punch anybody or run someone with your car. You can dance to a beat but not with people you love about or people you are angry with.

Talk to someone or talk to the person you're angry with in a polite manner. Watch and listen in what you say.

Fourth, Before you get angry, think first. You might say something you will regret. You could never take it back. Don't say anything that would hurt someone else feeling and point out the problem. Don't point at the person.

You can make them realize what they did was wrong without you making them angry like you. Stick with the problem. Like the cliche, "Criticize the performance not the performer." Don't get personal.

Think before you say or act on your anger.

Short Story "Some Wings"

Tuesday, October 4, 2011

Standing on the middle of the ground

I look at the left side and the right

I see a high rising wall

It is made of thick bricks

It has no doors nor gates

It has no windows nor stairs

Not even a rope that I can climb

I sigh deep

As I look up on the wall

I can hear birds chirping, singing on the trees

I can smell the fragrance of the flowers and trees

Moments later, I see a tiny hole

I peep into the hole

I see a beautiful forest behind the meadows

I can see butterflies, bees, and dragon flies flying from one flower to another.

I sigh

I look from left and into the right

Finding a way around the high and thigh wall

I walk and walk but nothing

I return on the middle of the ground

I see a tower twelve steps away from the wall

I get excited

I might find a rope or a ladder

But there was none

The tower has a small garden beside it

Gardens with vegetables, fruits and some flowers

There is also a farm with a barn

With Chickens, rooster, two cows and some pigs.

I don't want to live there!

I don't want the tower to be my home!

I want to be on the other side of the wall

I walk into the tower

I climb the stairs

I reach the top

I see an open door

It is the bedroom

Lovely room

Lonely room

I look out the window

I see what is beyond the wall

I see the forest and the meadows

There's a beautiful town beyond the forest

I can see all the happy and free people

I want to go there

I look at the wall

Checking if there is an end to it

But there was none

Someone sees me and waves at me

She holds a white dove

She ties a message around the dove's leg

She let the dove fly towards me

I read the message

It reads:

"I will help you but it will take a year or more than two years. The wall is enchanted. We can not use a ladder or rope. They will burn into the ground the moment it touches the wall. The wall can not be destroyed. Many had tried but failed. I'm sorry. I can't help you right now. Give me time. I will try to find a way to get you out. I promise."

I look back at her

I wave and smile at her

I write a message and fold it

I tie the message around the white doves leg

I let the dove fly back

She gets dove

She smiles

The message says, "Thank you. I understand. I will wait. I am not in a hurry. Take your time."

She waves me goodbye

I wave back at her

She walks away with her white dove

Days turn into weeks

Weeks turn into months

Months turn into a year

I am still waiting by the tower

I still live in the tower

Everyday I take care of the garden

I take care of the animals in the farm

Everyday I get some fresh water from the well beside a spring

On the opposite side facing the tower

Looks like an endless flat land

I pack my bags with some food, some water

A few clothes and some things that I need for my travel

I make it sure the farm animals

Have enough food for the day

I walk towards the endless looking flat land

After a few hours of walking

The endless flat land isn't endless

I reach in front of a mountain

There's no way around it

I must climb the mountain to see the other side

I look on the side of the mountain

There's a path leading up the mountain

I walk the path

I reach the top

I see a cliff

I walk towards the edge of the cliff

I look down

It is thirty feet down

I can see a forest, meadows and an elegant city

I look around for a way down

But there was none

On the corner

I see a small path

It leads to no where

I see a fruit bearing tree of wisdom

I gather some of the fruits

I put them in my bag

I bring out my telescope

I peep into my telescope

I see someone waving at me

I wave back at him

He sends a white dove with a message around its leg

I wait for the dove

It lands

I read the message

It says:

"I want to help you get down from the mountain but it will take some time. I don't know when I can help you but I will try to find a way. The mountain is surrounded by an enchanted forest. No one can get in easily and no one comes out. I'm sorry. Please be patient."

I let the white dove fly back with no reply message

I am disheartened

I head back at the tower before sunset

I reach the tower before sunset

I walk into the tower

I take a cold shower

I cook dinner

I sigh as I eat

I wash the dishes

I wipe the table

I brush my teeth

I walk up the stairs

I walk into the room

I sleep

Morning comes

I awake

I walk down stairs

I open the door of the tower

I see a brown horse

I ask, "Where did you came from? Who owns you?"

Of course no answer

He allows me to pet him on his head

I feed him and give him some water

I look into the barn

I see a wagon

I attach the wagon to the horse

I pack my bags

I take some seeds

I take some food

I take some water

I say to the horse, "Take me to where you came."

The horse nods

He walks away as a ride on the wagon

I look back at the tower

Slowly it disappears

After a few hours

He stops

A path opens

A beautiful cabin appears

But no one lives there

I ask, "Where is your master?"

The horse shakes his head

I detach him from the wagon

I unpack my things in the cabin

I walk out of cabin

I ask, "If you had a master, where could he be?"

The horse sees something from a distant

He stomp his foot on a paper

I pick it up

I read it

It says, "Good Day! If you're reading this, it's your luck day! If you want to get out of here prove yourself worthy. This is a test of character. You will find your way. Don't give up! Grow some wings! The Heavens is testing you! Work hard! Learn something! I have some clues for you inside the cabin!"

I asks, "Some wings? Huh? What?"

I look at the horse

The horse nods

I say, "Okay! Wings it is!"

I walk into the cabin

I see lots of books on the shelves

The shelves mounted on the entire wall

I start reading one book and another

They are books of wisdom

Books of Inspiration

Books of encouragement

Books from Heaven

I can have my wings within three months

Or maybe after six months

We'll see

The Dead Tyrant

Monday, October 31, 2011

Long before the Great Tyrant died

The oldest princess knew death would take him

A shadow of death covers his throne

He couldn't hear the crowd

Nor the whisper of his daughters

He thought he was invincible

He thought he was a god

He thought of a lot things

But in the end death came and took his life

The tyrant couldn't believe death came

He ran as fast as he can in the dark lonely hallway of his castle

The queen and the princess did not hear him

He tried running towards the library of his castle

Death caught his foot

He fell

He got up and tried so hard of breaking free from death

Death hit him hard

He slipped on floor tiles of the castle hall

He hit his head

He bleed and until he stopped breathing

His wife, sons and youngest daughter came rushing

His older daughter can't come hear him

The hallway was crowded

His son carried him and took him

They brought him into the room of the castle's physician

But it was too late

The Tyrant King died on the spot

He can hear his family cried but he can no longer answer

A week had past, the Tyrant king was in denial

He can't believe he was dead

His daughter, the older princess

Walked the gloomy hallway of castle

where he died

She was singing and chanting

The princess was sucked

She saw the tyrant

Her father

The King

The king complains "Wherefore art thou as noisy as the birds?"

The princess rubbed her eyes with disbelief

She looked again

All she saw was the castle curtains

Blew by the wind

The tyrant King lurked the castle

Scaring his soldiers

Scaring guests of the castle

The princess ordered him

Never come!

The furious Tyrant

Fulled his queen and his youngest daughter

He fulled them near the mirror of life and death

An entrance into the land of death

The oldest princess removed the King's hand

Freed the Queen and the youngest princess

The King walked away but promise of returning

The King kept lurking in the castle hall

Scaring his family

Scaring his people

Scaring his servants

His oldest princess ordered him

Begone!

The King refused and continued haunting the castle hallway

People he dislike and hate

He pulled their feet as they walked up and down the stairs

Even these days the Tyrant King continues scaring everyone who walks the hallway where death took his life

Self-Portrait!

Wednesday, October 5, 2011

Don't we love taking photos of ourselves? That's Nice! But do we really need taking nude photos?

Celebrities takes nude photos of themselves using their phone's camera. Now,someone hack their phones and it spreads like wild fire on the internet. They want to sue, whoever hack it. What for? There's no point. A lot people seen it and did you know take your clothes off on movies you made? Oh yeah you got paid for it and probably won an award or something.

Don't you have a separate digital camera? Why do you keep it in your phone anyways? If you want to preserve your nude photos, print them and hide them in a volt with a code or something.

You know for the fact that some people would die to see your nude photos out of curiosity or wants to fantasize about you. That's part of your showbiz life. Or maybe it was your intention to take it and let it get hack because if you don't want anybody take them then don't take them.

Think before you click your phone camera. Think many times or even a million times or maybe you just want to have an issue or you just want people talking about it. Don't get mad if you get criticize about it.

Like I said, "Think before you click your cameras."

Perfect Life

Wednesday, October 5, 2011

We want a nice home, nice backyard, nice garden, nice swimming pool, nice neighborhood and so on. We can list all down what we want but let's face it. Life is not perfect. We can't have everything we want, even if you have the means of owning everything you want.

There will be always disturb your peace of mind. There will always be someone or something that will annoy you. Whether you like it or not. We wish that anything annoy us disappear but it won't. Why? Because it is part of life. Why? It is because you can't control everything in life unless we are like God.

Though God has the power of controlling things, he doesn't. Why? So we can learn from each experience, good or bad. It is a learning experience. The world is a big role playing game. It is a battle field of wits, brain, bronze and among other things. It is test of character.

Even if we live in a community with a common goal. Still there will always be some kind of conflict. Everyone have their own agenda and belief system. There will always be something we can't control.

We can't insist what we want. Let say everyone is educated, went in the same school, the same amount of money, same health level and everything else, but of course different parents and different looks or physical features.

Still, there will be conflicts what we want is not what they want.

They may want a simple life but you want a level up in your life. We want progress and development but they want to just maintain their life style.

Nothing is equal

Nothing is perfect

Nothing is the same

Nothing is constant

A perfect man is not even perfect. He will always have flaws. He may seem perfect be he is not. Or even a perfect woman is not really perfect, we only think she is but she is not.

Life will be boring when everyone is the same thoughts, action like robots. We are not even bees in a hive

How do we react? How do we deal with it? What will be our action? Let's just accept we are not perfect we can strive to be the best we can be.

When People forgetting things

Wednesday, October 5, 2011

Are you tired of telling again and again to close the door after they enter or use the bathroom or something else that you keep telling someone to do?

Post a reminder!

If it is outside the house, that is one thing you can't control. They probably remove your post reminder without you knowing about it.

In your house you complete control. People keeps forgetting to turn-off the lights or close the door after. Post a reminder.

Yeah, the house looks like an ugly bulletin board but what else can you do? Kids, other family members and tenants keeps forgetting things.

Post a reminder. On the door, on the hallway, on top of the light switch or where ever they can read it.

The fridge? They sometimes ignore it, especially when it is just a small note or a post it adhesive.

Frustrated? Then Cry out!

Wednesday, October 5, 2011

If we think that after we become spiritually awaken we no longer suffer from frustration, we are wrong.

Once in awhile we will get frustrated, like it or not. We will also get bored with routines. If we get frustrated in life or even get bored then let it out. Vent it out without but make sure you won't regret it.

Cry out to the heavens, pray and be silent, so you would hear the heavens speak in your mind and heart. Take a cold shower and sleep. You will feel better in the morning.

Don't watch too much television or stay too long in front of the computer, it will add to your frustrations.

Change you're routine when you're the same thing over and over again. Some times write, some times draw, some times sing, dance, take photos (not nude, I hope) Do other things.

Layers of Trouble that you can't avoid

Friday, October 7, 2011

The things we are avoiding happened. What would you do? How do you react and deal with it?

You can be upset, complain, get annoyed and maybe stress yourself out or you can just accept it and think of a solution. Rejecting it happened won't help.

You're tired of problems. You just want to relax but as if someone is teasing you, giving you what you don't like. It is a test. As the devil predicted, you get upset when the thing you hate happens and you're stress out.

You're saving money and you don't want to spend it but you run out of Kerosene gas for you gas stove and the mice bit your gas tube, the storm came and ruined your shed. One expense comes another.

The money you're expecting did not arrive, it was delayed for another month or so. The devil knows you're going to be mad and bitter. You will complaining and blaming someone who already died or someone you think cause the problem rather than asking for God's help in finding a solution

Someone times we like keep holding on the problem and dwell on it, rather than let it go, move on, now what? Nothing. I won't stay think positive. Even if you think it, behind your mind you're not feeling good about the situation.

You're not living life but holding on something you can't control and can not keep.

Relax, take it easy. Worrying won't help. Yelling and getting piss-off won't either. You keep saying you're tired. If you keep saying that, then you're.

This is a test of faith. Would you trust life to take care of you or you would rather take care of yourself? Would you allow God's grace follow or reject it and you demand that it shouldn't happen but it did.

There's no point of being bitter and angry about it. It won't change the situation but if you let it go and accept it happen. You're perspective will change and you will find a solution.

You might say, "What about the incoming bills? What about our food for the next week?" This week has not ended nor the bills have arrive, panic if it's already there. In the mean time relax, have faith.

Problems, trials and challenge is part of life, including bad things that will happen and had happened. It will pass don't dwell in them. There's not much you can do.

I am not saying, "Expect for the worst to happen!"

What I am saying, "You'll survive no matter what will happen, You'll be fine. In God's good time."

Like I said, "Worrying won't help and panicking won't help either."

Mind Conflict

Monday, October 10, 2011

There are times or most of the times that our lazy body or lazy self don't agree with our mind. Sometimes we know exactly what to do but we just dismissed it all at once, just because of laziness.

The reason we don't have what we want, it is because of our personality and we are not one hundred percent committed into it.

There's a mind conflict going on in our mind. We listen to many voices. What are those voices? Our self, the devil, temptation of sin and even sometimes people around us or the environment we live in.

Some of this voices tell us lies. They give us discouraging words.

"Whatever you do, you will never get what you what even if you try. Even if you over come one stage of the trial, you won't get over the next. You will fail! You're a loser and you will stay that way"

Constantly, they keep lying so that you will get discourage enough and forget about working hard for your goals in life.

Even if the White Dove from heaven echoes this words.

"You can do it! I will help you! I will continuously inspire you. Don't worry after this, all will be great! You will feel better after doing some hard work."

There's always the first step, then there's the second and the third. You can do it.

We should listen to the White Dove and Wise Owl that hover in our thoughts. Don't shoo them away. What you should shoo away are the temptation of sin, the devil's lies and our selfish self. Don't let things around dictate what you're suppose to do. Listen to the owl and dove.

So you fail the first, second or maybe third task. So what? Don't stay down, get up! Get on your feet! Stand up! Let your goals and dreams happen with God's help

Keep going, exercise, proper diet, do some quiet time. Don't entertain fantasy that leads you away from life that you will have. You can't be dreaming for the rest of your life, wake up! Be alive! Get back in the race of life!

Do you want to be free or do you want to stay in the bondage of dreams? Then be careful what you entertain in your mind. Stick to what is real, work on what is real. Don't fall asleep and enter the land of fantasy and dream. It is a lonely place to be in.

Mind set! Taking control of your thoughts with the help of the white dove that God send along with the wise owl. Be committed to yourself and your goal. Hold on! Don't let it slip away. Keep moving! Never loss sight of your goal in real life.

***

Sleep

Monday, October 10, 2011

Don't love sleep. Sleep is suppose to be just for resting and rejuvenating your self and your body. It is not for escaping reality and life.

Don't stay on your bed when you're awake. Thoughts wonders in endlessly in dream land even if you're watching television don't lie on your bed.

Make your bed as soon as you wake-up. If you have a sofa bed, fold it right away. So it will not invite you to lie down. Unfold it when it is time for rest and sleep.

***

Write. Write what?

Monday, October 10, 2011

Write your thoughts not what you do all day. Don't write your anger, resentments. Write what you learn from your bad experience.

Don't write your past pain, write about the good memories or better yet write the present life's lesson. The past is gone, no point in dwelling in them, no point of writing about them either.

Are we supposedly to forget the good memories? Let see if you try thinking about them the next thing you will notice you are talking about the bad things as well.

Don't write your resolution or goals, new hopes, new dreams but rather do something about it, to reach it, little by little. One step of the time with God's help.

Quiet Time

Monday, October 10, 2011

A time to spend with God. Praying to God. Praising and Worshiping God. Reading some inspirational book and the bible. Reflecting in his words, listening to what he says in silent moments.

Fill your mind with good thoughts with these. If you neglect just one day or two, it will draw you back into the gloomy side of life. Frustration, Depression will return. Negative feelings will arise once more, so quick you can't continue in life.

Attractive Virtues

Dependable

Wednesday, October 12, 2011

Don't you hate it when people come late? You waited for them for one hour or sometimes two hours. If the meeting time is seven then arrive thirty minutes before that, don't arrive at eight.

We like delaying our work and putting them off for tomorrow or some other day and time. If you can do it today, do it right away, so you can make way for other projects or other task.

When we do something do it with the best of our ability. If we give help we give our best not half-way.

When we make a promise make sure we do it. If we can't keep a promise then better not say we'll do it but then never will. It is better we don't say anything and do it.

If someone make us promise, we can say "I can't make any promise but I will try. I'm sorry I am uncertain if I could do it."

The things you can do for others, do it. Don't wait until someone ask you to do it. Volunteer.

Why are we suppose to be dependable? We do it for love or out of compassion for others.

***

Purity

Friday, October 14, 2011

Earthly desires or Worldly desires pollutes us, damages and kills our spiritual life and eventually our physical body. It blemishes out thoughts, our hearts, our soul and our body.

If we are single, let us stay pure until we wed. A one night stand damages our dignity. It leaves us feeling guilty and tainted.

It destroys our sense of wholeness, our sense of security. If we love, we feel like making love, but it does not mean we should act on it, just to express our love for someone.

Let us not look lustful look at someone, even if we don't physically touch them, we already disrespect them.

Chastity is good for someone single. We can express love in a different way without being physical. We all look for connection but this not the kind of connection that would last a lifetime. It is only temporary.

Married couples should be faithful and not sleep with someone else, only with his or his spouse.

Loving the world also destroy us.

How do we love the world? We love the world when we love for the money. There is nothing wrong having money but what's wrong is that we love having more of it. We focus on making more money. We become greedy for money.

A love for power is also a bad thing. Don't we love to control everything? Don't we love getting approval from everyone? We want to be the center of attention. We like being praise for our accomplishments.

Workaholic is also bad for us. We shouldn't center our lives on work and accomplishments but on the people important to us and other people aside from our family and most especially God who gave us life.

Purity is making our minds, hearts and body dwell on what is good not on lust or worldly desires. We must actively, consciously and intentionally make our minds dwell on what is good.

Whatever is true or real, respectful, right, just, beautiful and anything that is excellent, worthy of praises this is what we should think about.

To be pure in heart, mind, body and soul, let us stay away from things that corrupts us. Let us refuse evil things, lustful things and negative things in life.

Let us set our minds on things that last forever like love. Let us not store riches on earth but in heaven.

Humility

Friday, October 21, 2011

We are humble when we are teachable. The willingness of learning new ideas, whether from a young person or older person. It doesn't matter whether it is from someone rich or poor. It doesn't matter, whether they have a different nationality.

We are humble, when we realize though we achieve so many things in life, we know that we are not perfect. We can't do things on our own without the anyone's help.

We are humble, if we are willing to listen to others. When we want to understand them and we are interested of knowing them.

We are humble, when we realize we are wrong and we sincere in apologizing.

We are humble, when we don't insist what we want and care enough of explaining our opinion with patience, so that others may understand what we trying to say.

We are humble, when we acknowledge we have a problem and willing of asking help from others and acknowledge others help us to get where we are today.

The humble is grateful with all things, small and big things. The humble accepts a sincere compliment.

They say, "Thank you, wouldn't have done it without the help of others."

False Humility

When we reject a compliment. We reject love from others. We don't accept others.

What gets on our way?

Pride

Conceit

Arrogance

When we think we better than anyone else. We think we don't need anyone. We think others are stupid and we doesn't deserve our attention. We are indifferent towards others.

We are all guilty of pride, conceit and arrogance but different levels or intensity. Others are less conceited, arrogant and proud than others.

Stand firm for what you believe in

Sunday, October 23, 2011

Why would I go back in certain belief that only left me with confusion? I found my peace and my questions had answered.

Would you give up your principles for romantic love? Would give up or compromise your religious belief because of work? Are we double standards?

For a parent it is heartbreaking that your child doesn't believe in the same belief that you raise her to be. You hope that someday she comes back in the belief that you have and raise her in.

But unfortunately, everyone has the right of choosing their beliefs and she found her peace with the answer she need that your beliefs or religion wasn't able to answer. Her confusion disappeared after leaving your religion. It is a sad thing that religion separates you each Sunday.

She hopes that you will change your mind and join her. In vice versa you also want her to change her mind and return to your religion. That's not going to happen all you can do is have love and compassion towards each other.

You're deeply in love with a man, unfortunately he doesn't share the same faith, he contradicts everything. What will you do? Know what God's will for your life. Don't insist on something that won't happen.

Some actors compromise his personal belief with his work. He sets aside his moral principles because the role he plays are the exact opposite in what he believes in.

Most dedicated Christians or those who are serious about their values, would not compromise their faith for the sake of acting, especially something violent and sexual in nature.

They wouldn't strip down naked in front of the camera or kiss their leading ladies. They won't even swear or say profane words.

If someone will say they will burn you alive if you don't give up your beliefs or your moral values, what would you do? You have family and other people who depends on you.

Stand firm in your faith no matter what happens.

We are not supposed to be double standards either. At home we a different characteristics, at work it is also different, at church it is also different.

We should be who we are not, not wear different masks in front of different people and different places.

Poem

Dreaming on my bed

Sunday, October 23, 2011

As I lie on my bed

Thinking of you

My hand touches the water of dreams

My bed drifts slowly on the river of dreams

Where does it take me?

It takes me, there

There where you stand

I look at the blue water as it slowly rushes

Taking me, near you

My heart beats slowly

My tears flow slowly

I am dreaming

My bed stops beside a huge rock

I sit on my bed

I see you

Waiting by the tree

At first you have not notice me

I wait until you look at me

You see me

You smile and rush towards me

You offer your hand

I grab on

As I stand

You help me up

I step on the rock

You envelope me in your arms

As my bed drifts back into my room

Drifts back into reality

If this is a dream

Why do I feel your warm embrace?

Why do I hear your heart beat?

Why do hear the sound of your breathing?

Moving back a bit

You hold my small hands with you big hands

My hands are like a little girl's hand

You're hands are twice as big

You smile at me

No need for words

We walk hand and hand towards a path

A path where we can share our dreams together

I shake my head

We stop

You frown your face

Tears flows down on my face

I run away from you

Run towards the river

The bed returns

I step on my bed

I look at you

You smile at me

I smile back as I wipe my tears

You wave goodbye

I smile again as my bed drifts away

Drifts back into my room

Drifts back into reality

I sit on my bed

I grab the remote and change the channel

I know we will meet again

Next time it will be real

Here we go again

It arrives

No one wants it

No one gets it

I make it looks simple

It is not!

Sigh!

I don't know how I did it

But I just do it

I don't know why I get it

I just get it

I can see through complication

I don't know why

Am I bragging?

The contrary

I don't know why I understand it

I just do

I don't know why

I guess it is how my brain works

Don't ask me how I know it

I just do

I can give you

Three solution

Three conclusion

You can choose which you prefer

Confusing isn't it?

I won't stop

Until I get it

It's up to you

Which solution you choose

I'm not a math genius

Nor an accountant

I just do what I do

I try what I try

It's all trial and error

Until you get it

***

Four Dozen Times Explanation

I am annoyed

I hate it when you don't get it

Even if I explain four dozen times

What am I suppose to do with you?

Why can't you get it in your small head?

It is not that complicated

Maybe, you don't want the explanation

You just like it your way

You can't do it your way

Sorry, it has to be

I'm sorry if you can't get it

Take it or leave it

I don't like the complication

If you like to stay

Then accept it

If you don't like it

I won't stop you from leaving

Doubts

Saturday, October 29, 2011

There are times when I have faith but for often doubt. I am grateful when I am bless but when the desire of my heart isn't given, doubt arises.

My thoughts becomes negative when I don't see where my life is going. I know I should have faith. I have faith but I also have doubts.

I am wondering where I went wrong. I analyze my actions but I know there is no point, the past had drifted away. I must think of away out of this reality, I have right now. To be honest, I don't know what to do.

I know my skills and God given talents are not enough. I can say, Everything is mediocre. People say I am talented. Okay, thanks but the question is, is it enough so I can earn a living?

Even if it did, will it last? I am dispensable and can easily be replace with a better person. Do I sound like sour grapes? You can say that. I am just acknowledging what I feel.

This is how I feel, you don't have to do anything about. I am just expressing my self. I am living life and accepting this how I feel. I am after all, human. I know I am not perfect.

Life is not just happiness, sadness is part of it. I can't avoid doubt when I feel clueless about life ahead of me.

Scaring your self?

Saturday, October 29, 2011

I don't know why I keep watching horror movies when I know I couldn't sleep at night. I must turn on the night light, so that I can fall asleep.

That was my dialogue a year ago or was it few months ago?

Anyways. If I can imagine scary ghosts from the grudge movie or from the ring movie come out from the television or from the shadows of my room. I can surely imagine a Guardian Angel can protect me from scary evil ghosts.

So, the next time you are scared, think of your guardian angel. She or he can protect you.
